The Twisted Pretzel

twisted pretzel

The Twisted Pretzels we shipped out for the October crate almost didn’t make it in…. not due to anything besides the fact that it took all our will power (and some slapped hands) to not eat all of them on the spot.   For those of you lucky enough to get the inaugural October Mitten Crate, YOU’RE WELCOME.  Ann will make decadent pretzels to order or you can check her facebook to see what farmers markets she will be popping up at next.

Tell us a little about yourself and the company you own/run
The Twisted Pretzel was created out of a love of my two favorite treats: chocolate and pretzels, I have been making the chocolate covered pretzels for friends and family for the past ten years, I decided to take a leap of faith and turn my hobby into a business.

What is your location and when did you start/how long has the company been in business
I am currently working out of Incu-Bake, a commercial kitchen in Holt, Michigan. The Twisted Pretzel was launched in February 2013.

What makes your products special/unique
Each pretzel is uniquely hand crafted with the finest ingredients. We pay special attention to every detail in creating out decadent gourmet chocolate covered pretzels. Every pretzel is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate.  We like to call it “Edible Art”.

What’s the favorite part about your job?
There are a few things that I really enjoy about my job, the first is working in the kitchen where I can test out my ideas, and create unique flavors combinations for the pretzels. The other is spending time at the farmers market. I love to meet new people and get their reaction to the pretzels. I am always looking for new ideas or flavor combinations.
