Great Granola for a Good Life

The folks over at Good Life Granola are taking their name literally, striving to have a healthy granola without all the added bunk you find in big name ‘nolas.  All natural ingredients you recognize so you can feel great about giving handfuls to kids, family, friends and heck even give some to strangers, because this is what healthy eating is all about.  Start off a good day with Good Life Granola and feel great about supporting this Michigan Made gem.

Tell us a little about yourself and the company you own/run

Good Life Granola started in our home kitchen because my wife couldn’t find a granola that met her criteria:  It had to taste good and have ingredients you could pronounce.  She wasn’t willing to feed anything to us that didn’t meet those goals.

What is your location and when did you start/how long has the company been in business.

We are based out of Holland Michigan and have just celebrated out fourth full year in business.

What makes your products special/unique

We use mostly Michigan Products and source from local vendors as much as possible.  We add no preservatives and still make it the same way we did when we started.  Integrity is a key component at Good Life Granola.

What’s the favorite part about your job

I like it when someone tastes the granola for the first time.  We have converted many granola skeptics to be granola fanatics.  It is a delight to see a kid or an adult exclaim “man, this stuff is so good!”

Where can we buy more of your products

We are carried in the Cereal aisle of all 200+ Meijer stores in 5 states and in many local health food and specialty food markets in Michigan and beyond.

Whats the best way to enjoy/eat/prepare/utilize your product

The most popular way to eat the granola, other than straight out of the bag, is as a topping on Yogurt.  My personal favorite is on ice cream with chocolate sauce.  But, we also suggest baking with it.  Substitute an equal portion of G.L.G. instead of oats in your oatmeal cookies…you will never go back to the old way.
