Peachy Keen Moscow Mules | Michigan Made Recipes

Hi, Mitten Crate fans! I’m Lori, and I’m the author of the food blog Foxes Love Lemons. I live in Ferndale, MI and went to culinary school at Schoolcraft College. Shortly after I graduated, I started blogging to share simple yet special recipes that encourage people to enjoy the act of cooking at home. I’m also a big advocate of buying local products, and have been buying Michigan-made groceries for as long as I can remember.
Making a cocktail with jam has been on my kitchen bucket list for about a year now, and when I saw that July’s Mitten Crate included Gus & Grey Floozie Peach Bourbon Vanilla Jam, I knew it was time. Since it’s prime Moscow Mule season, I always have a bottle of Valentine Vodka and some ginger beer on hand. So, I decided to go the simple route and just stir some of the jam into a classic Moscow Mule to infuse it with some peachy keen flavor.

Peachy Keen Moscow Mules
Serves: 2
Prep Time: 5 minutes



4 teaspoons Gus & Grey Floozie Peach Bourbon Vanilla Jam
3 ounces vodka
1 bottle (12 ounces) ginger beer
2 lime wedges

1. In each mug, stir 2 teaspoons jam and 1-1/2 ounces vodka until jam is dissolved in vodka. Fill mugs with ice; top off each mug with ginger beer. Squeeze a wedge of lime into each mug and serve immediately.
