MC: Tell us a little about yourself and the company you own/run.

RC: Rowster Coffee is a small coffee roastery and cafe. We source delicious coffees from around the world, carefully roast and package them, brew them in our shop, people buy to brew at home, or we ship them all across the nation.

MC: What is your location and when did you start/how long has the company been in business?

RC: We are located in beautiful Grand Rapids, MI at 632 Wealthy Street SE, 49503

We have been in this location for about 5 years, and roasting in the back of an art gallery for a couple of years prior.

MC: What makes your products special/unique?

RC: We have a unique roasting style that is pretty rare in the US – the most similar style that I have found, and is now coming to a bit of popularity would be from nordic coffee roasting companies. We use this unique style, paired with amazing coffees to try to provide a good experience to our clients, whether in the the shop, or at home.

MC: What’s your favorite part about your job?

RC: It’s different every day, which keeps it far from boring. Interacting with people is a big part of what I do, and I love it. Lastly, being able to experience some of the best coffees the world has to offer, which is a lovely attribute to have.

MC: Where can we buy more of your products?

RC: Launching March 16, we will be offering a couple different options for a subscription service to to receive our coffees on a regular basis. Be sure to check it out at

MC: What’s the best way to enjoy/eat/prepare/utilize your product?

RC: Drink it! Our coffees tend to shine as a pour over, or with a drip coffee maker that heats the water to the correct temperature (at least 195 degrees). That being said, any way that you enjoy coffee is a great way to go, because enjoyment is what we are all about!
